CHAT SESSIONS… Monday: small session with only 2 youth ops and total of 5
Tuesday: A bit better turnout. Youth stations KE2EVX, KD9GV, KI8AN and other ops totaled 7.
More check ins would be much appreciated as we have the numbers to show greater response.

J.O.T.A. SCOUTS JAMBOREE ON THE AIR… Oct. 17-19 is the BIG weekend for Scouts worldwide. Ham radio will be filled with Scouts on HF. and perhaps even Echolink and other digital systems. Plan now to show them some “YACHT Power.”
KANDY NET ON SUNDAY… I will be net control on Sunday Oct. 5 for our local 2 meter net, W8PIF-R 481872. Anyone interested in checking in as a YACHT member will be appreciated, especially our youth ops. 7pm CDST….
YOUNG HAM PASSED ENGLISH EXAM… We are very pleased to hear that Oliver M7ITL age 8 our youth member from England just aced his Intermediate ham radio exam. An achievement for a lifetime of activity, enjoyment, and radio skill. Great job Oliver!!
