Can we raise these connections?  We have plenty of outstanding youth ops and others that we seldom hear from.  If you have a minute or two, it would be great to hear more check ins, especially our young operators who are center of our operations.  Give it some thought and if you have the time, I would love to hear your callsign.  
I do recognize there are times when a check in is not feasible, such as schoolwork, church activities, family commitments, Scouts, and a few others.  But if you can spare a minute or two, stop on by and support your ham radio team.  We would be pleased to hear you.  Thanks and keep on pumping those signals into the sky.

CONTEST UNIVERSITY INFO FROM VIOLETTA… 
Hi Ed, 

There is an excellent opportunity for youth this year at Dayton! The Contest University, sponsored by DX Engineering, is completely free for youth thanks to scholarships from the NCDXF. Also, there is a Saturday night Contest Dinner, and there will be a prize drawing of an ICOM 7300 open only to the youth in attendance. Dinner tickets are free for any youth under 25.
