Saturday, September 5 had 8 check ins. Youth ops: KJ7AGQ, KE9FXQ, KI5KGE and KJ5EWP. Also aboard were K3TEL, AG5QU, KA4RCV and VU2MDA.
It is great to see several of our newer youth members joining the Saturday Youth Nets. Let’s continue to encourage our young operators to check in and help make our Saturday nets a strong part of YACHT.

Thursday, August 27 had 3 ops. Youth op: KJ7AGQ. Also aboard were K3TEL and KG8CX.
Friday, August 28 had 6 check ins. Youth ops: KJ7AGQ, KE9EKF, KC3RAP, AC1QD, W1EEL and KE2EVX by proxy from KE9EKF.
Monday, August 31 had 4 ops. Youth ops: KJ7AGQ, KJ5NVM and KE2EVX. Also aboard was KG8CX.
Tuesday, September 1 had 6 ops. Youth ops: KJ7AGQ, KJ5NVM, KI8AN and KE8ZYD. Also aboard were KG8CX and VU2MDA.
Wednesday, September 2 had 7 ops. Youth ops: KJ7AGQ, KI8AN and KE8ZYD. Also aboard were K8LK, KE2AVB, KC3CDU and KG8CX.
Thursday, September 3 had 9 ops. Youth ops: KJ7AGQ, KJ5NOI, KC3RAP, KE2EVX, KE9EKF and KI8AN. Also aboard were KG8CX, KI5KMW and VU2MDA.
Friday, September 4 had 6 ops. Youth ops: KJ7AGQ, KE9EKF and KC3RAP. Also aboard were KG8CX, KA4RCV and VU2MDA.
Monday, September 7 had 7 ops. Youth ops: KJ7AGQ, KJ5NOI, KC3RAP, KE9EKF, KE2EVX and KE9FXQ. Also aboard was KA4RCV.

Thanks to everyone who checked in and supported our youth operators. It has been great to hear so many youth members participating in the weekday chat sessions. Just a minute or two on the air is always appreciated and helps keep YACHT active.

YOUTH NET CONTROL OPPORTUNITIES… John KJ7AGQ will not be available to run the Tuesday and Thursday chat sessions beginning September 22, 2026. We are looking for other youth operators who would like to take a turn as Net Control.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience, build confidence and help keep YACHT active. If you are a youth operator who would like to try Net Control, please consider signing up and helping lead your fellow young operators on the air.
