Plan on punching in the 954283 node on Wed., Thurs. Fri. and Sat. youth net and join your ham radio friends. A crew of high level hams is always an enjoyable experience.

STEM YOUTH NET… Give some thought to connecting up to the STEM net that Vicki AD3I has created.  Node #141327 on Echolink 5:30pm CST. Thursday.  Wait for the Echolink connection request.  Youth net controls are heard regularly.  This group is doing a positive service to giving young hams support in amateur radio, and others who also back these kids.  Between YACHT and STEM nets, we are showing how much we value their enjoyment and participation in this wonderful hobby/service of ham radio.  We are part of the future of amateur radio communications.

YACHT YOUTH PASSES EXAM…
Congratulations to Oliver 2E0KQE for passing the Full Exam for complete privileges.  He lives in England . His Dad is also licensed.  Oliver is only 9 years old and probably the youngest ham in England and in many areas as well.  YACHT is proud to call Oliver a youth member.  We hope to hear from him again in one of our echolink sessions.  Good job, Oliver!!!

His new callsign will be M1ODH. https://www.qrz.com/db/m1odh
