**Just want to say “Thank You” to all our outstanding youth hams and other operators who support the entire realm of amateur radio including here at YACHT. We wouldn’t be here without you. Hopefully we are providing a program of friendship and operating activity for all. I firmly believe YACHT is one of the best youth groups within the amateur radio hobby. If you haven’t connected up to us on Echolink or HF, or have only done so sporatically, consider doing so soon.

Small groups so far, but we have the capability to bring those upward. Let’s try for Wed. and rest of week.
MONTH OF MAY… May is often referred to as “National Radio Month” and that also include amateur radio. Your status as a licensed ham operator should give you pride and a feeling of accomplishement.

Attention youth! There’s an opportunity to be part of the upcoming DXpedition to Saba remotely! YOTA Americas and the Pacific Islands DXpedition group are partnering to create the opportunity for young hams to operate the DXpedition station remotely from October 16th- 28th, 2025. The schedule coordinating the remote YOTA operating team will be started shortly by Kees, W0AAE.
