I thought you could put this in the weekly YACHT newsletter. I was on a tower in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (Frying Pan Tower), 32 miles off the coast of North Carolina constructing a remote HF station for kids to use. Nathan, K4NHW and I made around 1,150 QSOs, mostly on FT8, with the callsign K4F/MM. I will have an article in DXE’s OnAllBands blog shortly.

Our youth are ALL  top notch operators.

MEMBER UPGRADES… Congratulations to Cameron KD9VGV for his upgrade to Extra class.  Always pleased to see one of our outstanding youth upgrade to General or Extra.

FRIENDSHIP-RECOGNITION AWARD… this month goes to Maggie Dill KR4FTN age 10 for her very active radio operation.  She is working to upgrade to General soon.  A very high level young ham.  Congratulations Maggie. Here is her photo

FUTURE YOUTH MEMBER… Maggie using her dad’s call of KR4DCL checked in to Sat. net and mentioned she just passed her Technician exam.  We encourage her to join our top notch youth ham group as she certainly would qualify as soon as her FCC callsign is assigned.. Congratulations Maggie.
Update, Maggie’s new call is KR4FTN member #560.  She is 10 y. o. and sounds good on our chat sessions.
